About me

Jakub Sova

I offer individual therapy for adults and couples therapy. In my work with clients I create a safe space for meeting, where almost anything may happen and nothing has to. I like a tailor-made approach and I believe that everything has its time.

I believe in the power of human relationship, authenticity and truth, and in their ability to help and heal. I rely on dignity, I like playfulness, and that is also how I work. Kindly, with respect for the client and their needs and possibilities. These determine the course of the session; I am the support, I hold the flashlight and light the way.

I am a full member of the Czech Association for Psychotherapy (ČAP) and I receive regular supervision of my work.

How it works

How we begin

  1. You write or call me

    A short message or a phone call is enough. You don't need to have anything prepared — we will agree on what you need, perhaps just the date of the first meeting.

  2. Introductory session

    We will get to know each other and together name what brings you here and what you would like to achieve, and we will begin working so that you feel better.

  3. We agree on frequency and format

    Based on your needs and possibilities we will set how often we will meet.

  4. Everything is confidential

    Confidentiality is a matter of course for me. Everything you entrust to me stays between us.

Pricing and terms of cooperation

Price, duration, cancellation, formats

  • Individual session50 min1,500 CZK
  • Couples session80 min2,500 CZK
  • Individual online session50 min2,000 CZK
  • Couples online session80 min3,000 CZK

Online sessions: the online rate is charged only if more than 50 % of the session is held online.

Cancellation policy: cancelling a session more than 48 hours in advance is free of charge; for a cancellation less than 48 hours in advance I charge a fee of 100 % of the price.

A health insurance contribution can be claimed for the sessions according to the insurer's terms, except for VZP.
